Chickpea blondies

Satisfy your sweet tooth with our Chickpea Blondies. Free of refined sugar and packed with wholesome ingredients, these blondies offer a healthier alternative to traditional brownies while still delivering a rich, indulgent flavour.

 16 oz tin of chickpeas rinsed and drained
 ¾ cup coconut sugar
  cup flour of your choice
 ¼ cup Approx, mashed banana
 1 tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp bicarb
 ¼ tsp salt
 Chocolate chips of your choice approx 100g

Place all ingredients apart from chocolate chips in a bowl or blender and wiz until smooth.
I used my hand blender and it worked perfectly.
The mixture will be thick and gooey then stir in chocolate chips and save a few to spread on top.

Tip mixture into a baking tin and smooth out, then sprinkle the remaining chocolate on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 170f for 25 mins

Remove and leave to cool, then cut to your preferred size.
