Carrot and Celery Sticks with Homemade Hummus

Yields1 Serving
 400g jar of chickpeas, washed and drained
 2 tbsps of tahini paste
 2 tbsps of olive oil
 1 garlic clove
 Juice of 1/2 lemon
 vegetable sticks of your choice

1. Whizz all of the above ingredients into a blender and then loosen with a little water if necessary.

2. If you don’t have a blender, then mash everything smooth with a fork or a masher. The hummus will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

3. Serve the hummus with the julienned carrots and celery sticks, or any vegetables you desire.
