This sauce is so heavenly you will be fighting over the greens!
Preheat the oven to 180°C and toss the Brussel with olive oil in a large baking tray, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Bake in the oven until the Brussel sprouts are tender and slightly crispy, which should be about 20 minutes.
While the Brussel sprouts are cooking, place the sesame oil in a skillet or frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Next, stir in the starch-alternative then add the soy sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, hoisin sauce, and garlic chili paste. Season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until thickened.
Once the Brussel sprouts are done, remove and poor into a large bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the sprouts and toss to combine.
Garnish with peanuts, sesame seeds, and green onions to own taste and enjoy!
